Lilliput Children's Services Fundraiser - Derby Day 2014: Hats On For the Kids

Event Description
AND THEY’RE OFF! Don’t miss this signature event celebrating the 140th Kentucky Derby while raising awareness and resources for neglected, abused or at-risk foster youth. All net proceeds will benefit Lilliput Children's Services and the foster, adopted and kinship children and youth they serve.
You can look forward to:
- Live broadcast of the Derby races on multiple big screen TVs
- Delicious authentic Southern food by Mulvaney’s
- Ladies' hat contest
- Jazz band
- Live auction items
- Convenient valet parking, $5/vehicle
Founded in 1980, the mission of Lilliput Children's Services is to ensure a child's opportunity for permanence in a safe and nurturing family. Lilliput completes about 500 adoptions every year for California foster children. This is the most of any private agency in the whole state! By attending, donating to or sponsoring this event, you are not supporting Lilliput; you are supporting a vulnerable child's chance to make their dreams come true. The children of today are our community leaders of tomorrow.
